1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Baab ("gobaab.com"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Community Guidelines & Submissions

Baab provides a platform for community members and organizations to publish and discover Islamic events, prayer times, and directory listings. When submitting content:

• You agree to provide accurate, respectful, and truthful event information.
• Submissions containing hate speech, misinformation, or unauthorized commercial spam will be removed immediately.
• We reserve the right to review, edit, or reject event submissions that violate community guidelines.

3. Halal, Certification & Slaughter Claims

Baab operates as a directory and discovery platform. It lists various entities — including restaurants, meat markets, and slaughterhouses — alongside halal certification details obtained directly from independent certifying organizations (such as Halal Monitoring Services (HMS USA) and the Halal Food Standards Alliance of America (HFSAA)) or reported by the business itself.

Any reference to a halal status, certification status, "hand slaughtered," "Zabihah/Zabiha halal," "HSZH," or similar designation displayed on Baab represents the assertions of the originating certifying organization or the business itself, rather than a representation or guarantee by Baab. Baab does not independently verify:

• The slaughter methods employed for any animal or product.
• Whether specific conditions of Zabiha (including the proper incision of the throat vessels, the invocation of Allah's name at the time of slaughter, or the qualifications of the slaughterer) were satisfied for any specific batch, product, or time.
• Whether a certification remains active and valid at the exact moment of viewing.
• Whether a business's current operational practices align with its displayed certification or historical standards.

Certification statuses and business practices are subject to change without notice. When displaying status terminology provided by an external authority (such as "certified," "suspended," or "expired") alongside its associated date, Baab strictly reproduces the source's published information and does not independently upgrade, downgrade, or infer status definitions.

Nothing published on Baab constitutes a fatwa, religious decree, or authoritative religious certification. Educational content explaining religious concepts — such as the operational conditions of Zabiha — is provided solely for general informational purposes using published primary sources. Users retain sole responsibility for conducting their own due diligence, consulting qualified religious scholars, and verifying matters of dietary adherence.

4. Information Accuracy

Event and prayer service schedules are aggregated from official sources and community submissions. While we strive for high accuracy, attendees are encouraged to verify exact times directly with the hosting organization.

5. Intellectual Property & Content

Organization names, trademarks, and venue logos remain the property of their respective owners. Content submitted to Baab is used under license to display and promote local community events.
