Masjid Ash-Shaheed is an Islamic community and mosque located in Charlotte, North Carolina, affiliated with the leadership and vision of Imam W. Deen Mohammed. Originally organized as the Charlotte Masjid of Al-Islam in 1989, the community was later renamed in honor of founding member Brother Mahdi Shaheed. The congregation moved into its current mosque, school complex, and community center on West Sugar Creek Road in September 2006.
