Event Title: Food Pantry Program & Volunteer Operations Program Summary: This session covers the standard operating procedures (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zlEQpb9FXDexbroGErRYg6AVRd1Z9csV5e8_sr8YDko/edit?usp=sharing) for the ICN Food Pantry Program. Our goal is to provide essential groceries to eligible households within a 20-mile radius of ICN 12South. Food distribution occurs on the first weekend of every month. Volunteer Tasks & Workflow: • Pickup: Collecting food supplies and donations from designated vendors or storage areas. • Prep & Sort: Organizing bulk items and checking for quality/expiration to ensure all food meets safety standards. • Package: Assembling standardized grocery bundles based on the current month's distribution list. • Deliver: Transporting packaged groceries directly to the addresses listed on the approved application list.
