The 5th Annual Mecca Moves 5k & 1K Race, Walk, & Roll! Get ready for a morning of movement, community, and purpose at the 2026 Mecca Moves 5K & 1K on Saturday, September 19th at 8:00 AM in Downtown Burr Ridge, IL! This event is part of our wellness initiative to promote fitness, physical and mental health in our community for all ages and abilities. This fun, family-friendly event welcomes all ages and abilities to walk, run, or roll on a USATF-certified course—the same route as last year. Participants will enjoy medals, prizes, food, and community fun, all while supporting a great cause. All proceeds benefit Arab American Family Services (AAFS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through culturally responsive social services, mental health support, domestic violence prevention, youth and family programs, and resources that promote long-term stability and well- being Early Registration (by 9/12):$35 for children | $45 for adults Late Registration (9/13–9/19):$45 for children | $55 for adults Register with the yellow button below!
